p.2 crew of Toledo scow say ghost of murdered captain helped them save ship during storm.

-Marine News - sch. Wild Rover lost on Lake Huron; bark Invincible ashore this side of Presque Isle; on Lake Michigan the schooners Southwest, Supply, Carlingford and L.S. Hammond are total losses; at Hammond's Bay the sch. C.A. King a total loss; Fayette Brown is lying comfortably; sch. A.E. Hart a total loss; G.J. Whitney and Fleetwing also ashore.
