-Vessels Passed Through the Welland Canal - a list of vessels passing through canal on May 2. (henceforth V.P.T.W.C.)

p.3 New Steamer - prop. Lewis Shickluna arrives at Kingston; description.

-A Large Fleet - 40 downward bound and 60 upward bound - worry about a break occurring in canal.

-The Grain Trade - a large fleet headed for Kingston; ice blockade in St. Clair is causing backup.
