p.2 Silver - Discount Rates in Kingston - a public meeting - mentioned that Calvin & Breck of Garden Island pay their employees in Bills, and besides allow them the privilege of dealing at their stores in silver, thus giving them a premium on their wages. As the firm pay over $1,100 a day in wages, their liberality is worthy of notice.
