p.2 Extending Business - M.T. Co. expanding, made an offer on Calvin & Breck's new barge, and an elevator at Cape Vincent.

-Liberal - American or foreign pleasure craft don't have to enter or clear at Customs houses, or pay tonnage tax.

p.3 Boorish - Customs agents at Prescott.

-Emigration - Norwegians pass up on str. Spartan.

-An Outrage - officers of str. Osprey charged at Ogdensburg with outrage on American citizen, but had only shot at duck on water.

-Brockville Regatta - Kingston boats competing.
