Flying Cloud ashore at Red Creek abandoned; barque Fontanelle towed from Charlotte for repairs; sloop Cora got off at Grindstone Creek and towed in by tug Crusader; sch. America could not be got off at Three Mile Bay. [Oswego Advertiser]

-revenue cutter Fessenden pulled off sch. Jane Balston and prop. Akron, ashore at Put-In Bay; bark ashore between Beaver and Waiska Islands. [Milwaukee Sentinel]

-sch. A. Buckingham sank in 3 fathoms near Harrisville, Lake Huron. [Cleveland Herald]
