p.3 sch. Irene has loaded with 2nd cargo of wheat for Cape Vincent.

-J.H. Henderson & Co. of Montreal are building a barge of 500 tons for the grain trade between Montreal and Kingston.

-str. Gazelle is making trips to Wolfe Island.

-barque Jessie Drummond dragged ashore while lying at Wolfe Island; she was carried away by drift ice, rescued by Watertown.
