p.3 sloop Monitor, from Sacketts Harbor, was first arrival at Oswego.

-The building of Mr. Gildersleeve's steamer has been underway a week in the slip at the foot of William St. Her frame is now half up. It is to be of iron, while she is to be planked to the water line and to be iron-plated above that mark to the main deck.
