p.2 ad for Ottawa & Kingston Freight & Passage Line - upper cabin steamer Alice to make trips until new str. Louise, built specially for the route, is completed.

p.3 Fraser's new vessel the Ben Folger to be launched from Marine Railway.

-The First Grain - arrived from Welland Canal by schooners Wanderer, Dauntless and Persia.

-The Passenger Steamers - the St. Helen and Passport are running; "the steamer Kingston makes her first trip today, leaving Prescott at 9 A.M. and follows the Passport to Toronto tomorrow night."
