p.2 yacht Ina newly built for Colonel Shaw, the U.S. Consul, races at R.C.Y.C., measures 38 x 13' 9".

-ad for str. Norfolk, R. Davis, master, on Clayton, Kingston and Gananoque route, with schedule.

-Imports - 8,9.

p.3 Yacht Mena of Cape Vincent, built for Mr. Shaw, U.S. Consul, was bought by 3 Kingston gentlemen.

-Pacific Survey - Rescue arrived at Collingwood from Lake Superior.

-Launches At Montreal - a new barge for Messrs. Henderson & Co., intended for the grain trade between Kingston and Montreal; Mr. Cantin launched new steamer Maude for Ottawa River Navigation Co.

-Police Court - sailor from sch. Three Friends fined for assault and held for non-payment of wages.
