Shipping News - There is little business doing at present in the shipping department of the port, the season having nearly closed. The Enterprise arrived from Oswego with 125 tons of coal for Messrs. Swift & Co. The Flying Scud is chartered to convey a cargo of barley to Oswego, and will sail, weather permitting, in the course of a few days. The following is a list of the vessels in port at their winter quarter.

Large shipments of sheep to Cape Vincent took place yesterday and today by the Steamer Watertown.

-vessel Geo. Goble drifted ashore 2 miles west of Kettle Point, Lake Huron, on the Canadian side.

-Royal Mail Line Steamers - in winter quarters at Kingston: Spartan and Corinthian; at Montreal Kingston and Passport; at Lachine Corsican and Magnet; at Charlotte Athenian, Abyssinian, Banshee and Champion.

-Imports - 6,7.
