New Lightkeepers

Washington, October 16. - [Special] - The secretary of the treasury has appointed Thomas L. Kean as master of light vessel No. 63 at Ballard Reef, Detroit, vice Christopher Crisp, resigned; George R. Holden, assistant signal station keeper at Detour, vice David Pugh, remove and Bartholemew Whelan, assistant keeper of the fog signal station at Fourteen-mile Point.
