-Vessel Accidents - bark Woodruff ashore at Leamington; sch. Union of Port Dover ashore 12 miles above Port Maitland.

-Wreck - prop. Young America ashore 2 miles west of Yates' Pier, Lake Ontario (at Thirty Mile Point, south shore).

-From Niagara Falls - new Maid of the Mist to be built.

-The Gale - prop. Argyle had 2 feet of water on deck.
