Steam Boat Disaster - The steamer Erie, when within two miles of Amherstburgh, on her way from Buffalo, on the 4th inst., had, her boiler burst. Raymond Baby, Esq., Sheriff of the Western District, leaped overboard, and sank before he could reach the shore. Two firemen were so badly scalded that they died in a short time, and two others are not expected to recover. - West. Her.
