p.2 City Council - Peter Kiel, Gov't Inspector of Fisheries, complaining of deposits of offensive matter upon the ice in front of the city, and asking for the abatement of the nuisance as contrary to law;

-the Committee on Streets & Improvements recommended the granting of the prayer of the petition of W. Power & Co., asking that the city grant them in perpetuity the lowest portion of Gore St. for the construction of a graving dock, provided that they procure the necessary legislation on the subject.
