p.3 Tug Line - str. William got sch. Wawanosh off False Duck Island, where she ran aground while picking up a sailor who had fallen overboard; the Gov't tug line steamers can't go beyond Cornwall because of ice.

-A Rencontre - a drunken sailor was fighting with 3 policemen.

-str. Fairy of Ottawa sold to Mr. McLennan of Cornwall.
