Steamboats - Yesterday three new steamboats, intended for the Canal and River navigation, arrived here from Niagara. We understand two more are to follow. The three which have now arrived are owned respectively by Messrs. McGibbon, Ferguson & Co., Sanderson & Murray, and Ross, Matthie & Co.. The descent of the river by steam having been succussfully tried, the building and employment of these boats for that purpose will afford facilities not only for freight, but for passengers, not hitherto enjoyed.
