p.2 The schr. Thomas Parsons, ashore on the North Manitou Island, is owned by Messrs. Vosburg & Baker, of Buffalo, and is insured for $15,000. Her cargo (22,500 bushels of wheat) is also fully insured. The Parsons was built at Charlotte in 1868, and rated A 2. She will prove a total loss.

p.3 Police Court - A summons case of wages against Capt. Davis, of the Rideau Canal fleet. The case was settled by a compromise in the amount to be paid.

The Harbor - Jas. Swift & Co. report str. Picton from Trenton; str. Corinthian, Hamilton; str. City of Kingston left for Ottawa; steam barge Nile, from Rideau Canal, gen. cargo; schr. Jessie McDonald loading barley for Oswego; prop. Wm. Cowie, from Ogdensburg.

Jones & Millar report schr. Ploughboy, from Cobourg, with 5,000 bush. wheat.
