p.3 The Harbor - James Swift & Co. - arrived - prop. Celtic from Montreal; str. Picton, from Trenton; str. Corinthian from Hamilton; prop. R.W. Standly from Montreal. The U.S. survey str. Surveyor left for Sacketts Harbor to lay up for the season.

Holcomb & Stewart - arrived - schrs. New Dominion of Port Rowan, from Chicago, 13,400 bush. wheat; Northumberland, from Kincardine, 14,800 bush. wheat. Departures for Montreal: barges Star No. 1, 14,000 bushels peas and wheat, and 800 bbls. apples; Star No. 2, 11,000 bush. wheat and barley; Jet, 23,500 bushels wheat.

The G.C. Trumpff, of Chicago, a freshwater schooner, passed through the Lachine Canal on Saturday, bound from Chicago to Queenston, with a cargo of bones.
