p.2 Poor Place - Oswego is a poor place for going on water excursions; they don't have many options; recently went to Ducks in Kincardine.

-Belleville Regatta - details of 30 mile race.

-W.C. - 28.

-Ocean Trip - to be made by sch. Middlesex; she has already made 1 transatlantic trip.

p.3 The Harbor - arrivals and departures at Jones & Millar's wharf

-Left Milwaukee - schooners loaded with wheat at Milwaukee for Kingston.

-Travel - steamers are busy on river.

-Down the River - Oddfellow's excursion on Maud down to Ogdensburg.
