p.3 The Toronto Regatta - 2nd Day - 1st class races to be sailed over.

-New Grain - first Canadian grain was shipped from Oshawa to Oswego on sch. Hope on 3rd.

-Afloat - a two-masted yacht was seen capsized off Toronto.

-Collins Bay Marine - arrivals on Sept. 7.

-Marine Notes - sch. Elgin missed stays and drifted ashore off Pt. Frederick; scow Merrimac of Rideau Canal dismasted.
