-A Sad Drowning - a bateau loaded with bricks sank at head of Lake St. Peter and 6 drowned.

p.2 Tri-Weekly - Change of Time - for R. & O. Nav. Co. - Royal Mail Through Line with new schedule.

-W.C. - Oct. 2.

p.3 Casualties - yachts Nettie C., Unknown and Go Softly adrift in gale.

-Freights - rates given on wheat from Chicago to Kingston - 5 3/4¢; from Detroit 4 1/2¢ on corn.

-sch. Albatross got off shoal near Tower.
