-The Maud - ran on a rock off Bear Pt. on way to Cape Vincent from Kingston. [Cape Vincent Eagle]

p.3 Freights - wheat from Chicago to Kingston at 8¢.

-The tug Sumter has arrived at Oswego with the dredge Hercules and dump scows, which were sunk at Presqu' Isle last fall to evade seizure on a mortgage, by A.E. Munson. The raising of them cost $4000.

-Swifts - vessels calling.
