-Wolfe Island Council - adjourned to attend funeral of Abbott, the fisherman; 3 died -details.

-Marine Notes - str. H.A. Calvin back from South Bay to get another pump to help with salvage of Corsican, stranded at South Bay Point; prop. Acadia detained at Prescott by low water in river because of N.E. gale; sch. Forest Queen not ashore but only roughly handled against dock; sch. Three Friends from Oswego to Toronto, sunk in mid-lake; prop. ashore at Port Maitland; sch. Gibson ashore near Port Burwell.

p.3 Another Upset - Rescue - 2 fishermen, returning from some of the upper fishing stations, upset 2 miles off Portsmouth, rescued by steamer Rochester.
