The N. T. Co. propeller Empire arrived down last evening from Chicago, and the Young America of the same line is expected to-night. Richardson says there was a fair prospect of the Straits becoming blockaded again with ice by the NE Wind which was forcing it back to that locality. The schooner Barbarian, bound down, had arrived there and would get through. On Lake Huron large quantities of ice was returning towards the river St.Clair. - Detroit Adv., 21st
