p.3 The Algerian - Last fall the shaft of the steamer Algerian, on the windward side, was taken out (being cracked) and a new one put in; and now the shaft on the port side of the steamer, which has been bent ever since the fire which destroyed the boat in which the machinery was formerly used, is being taken out to be straightened.
