p.3 Mr. Cuthbert built a new yacht at Cobourg for Mr. Bell of Belleville; Mr. Stonebury of Belleville built a new yacht named Resolute, 10 tons.

Marine - arrivals and departures; sch. Velocipede capsized near Racine.

- The strs. Spartan and Algerian also of the Royal Mail Line, lying at Swifts, have made their trial trips and given satisfaction.

- D.C. West made first trip through Rideau; during the winter she was lengthed 15 feet and had a new saloon built at Sand Hill.
