Commercial - effects saved from str. Cumberland sold by auction; hull and machinery to be sold later.
p.3 Passed Through Welland Canal - J. Walters, Cleveland, Kingston, coal.
Fined - Capt. of Alexandria paid $400 fine to American gov't for infraction of customs laws.
Accident - schr. Blazing Star, ashore at Narrows, with ore from Ogdensburg to Cleveland, pulled off.
