Rend Towed to Mackinaw

Mackinaw City, November 8. - The steamer Black Rock picked up the steamer W. P. Rend, at anchor near Beaver Island with a broken shaft, and towed her here this morning.

Chicago, November 8. - The Rend will be picked up at Mackinaw City by some downbound steamer and towed to Detroit for repairs. She is grain-laden for Buffalo.
