W.W. - Chicago Charters to Kingston - prop. Cleveland, wheat at eleven cents, schr. Shandon, wheat at eight 1/2 cents.

The Model Isle - 40 years of Prohibition at Garden Island; population a little over 1,000.

Sept. 22, 1877

p.2 Toronto - yacht race between Oriole and Annie Cuthbert for third time, thought to be a sure thing for Cuthbert.

Sudden Death - Mr. Fraser, steward of str. Hastings.

p.3 Donation - from Calvin & Breck to fire department for help at their recent fire.

New Order - Messrs. George Chaffey & Bro., of Kingston, to build 70' steamer for six men from Hamilton.
