p.3 From Up the Lakes - There is no change in rates on grain from the west down the lakes. The schooner Robert Gaskin has been chartered at Detroit to carry a cargo of pine timber to Ireland at $72 a ton; stm. barge Lothair and consort Cerisande chartered to carry grain from Chicago to Collingwood.

Marine - The sch. Antelope will load ice at T. Horris' on the owners account. The Bark Arabia has been chartered to load ice at Breakey's for Chicago.

p.4 The Wrecking Muddle - American tugs in Canadian waters.
