Marine - M.T. Co. - The propeller Zeland (sic - Zealand ?) from Toledo, lightened and proceeded to Montreal. The schooner Ganges arrived from Milwaukee with 22,887 bus. of wheat. Yesterday the tug Bronson left for Montreal with the following barges: Harris, 13,589 bus of corn; Consort, 10,266 bus of wheat; Duluth, 20,870 bus of corn; Chicago, 20,843 bush of wheat.
Swift's - Steamers Passing - City of New York, from Cleveland for Ogdensburg; Argyle, from Chicago and Cuba from Prescott; Dominion from Montreal. The schooner B.W. Folger left for Oswego with iron ore. The propeller Lake Erie passed down from Hamilton, and the Asia from Windsor.
Stewart's - The arrivals are: Schooner Mary McGee, Muskegon, 276,000 feet of deals; Charlotte Robb, Muskegon, 236,000 feet of deal; F. Crawford, Muskegon, 300,000 feet of deal; Waterton, Chicago, 22,500 bushels barley; Cecilia Glenny, Wellington, 6,000 bushels of peas, and five barges from Montreal, light. Six barges left for Montreal with 128,827 bushels of corn; and the steam barge Clinton, with barges Grimsby, Clyde and Gleniffer, left for Port Colborne for orders.
Garden Island: Arrivals: Schooner Henry Folger, Sault Ste. Marie, pine timber; str. Hiram (sic), Dickinson's Landing, barges.
Chicago Forwarding Company - The arrivals are: Schr. Wave Crest, from Toronto, 10,025 bush wheat; schr. Mary Merritt, from Port Dalhousie, 20,460 bush corn; prop. Asia lightened 2,536 bush of corn; the prop. Canada, 3,537 bush do. and the prop. Argyle, 4,715. All three steamers then left for Montreal. The schr. British Queen arrived from Port Dalhousie with 7,800 bush of corn. The tug Frank Perew arrived with five barges, light, and left with the following for Montreal: B, 12,669 bush of wheat; Winona, 3,000 bush of corn and 12,270 bush of wheat; Powerful, 18,120 bush of corn; and Iowa, 23,339 bush of corn.
