M.T. Co. - Arrivals: Prop. Africa, Toledo, 3,301 bushels corn; Scotia, Chicago, 573 bushels corn; Prussia, Chicago, 6,817 bushels corn; schr. Charger, Toledo, 17,229 bushels corn; props. Armenia, Toronto, 14,000 bushels corn; Victor, Toledo, 17,753 bushels corn; Africa, Chicago, 20,000 bushels corn. The tug Glide left with barges Consort, 10,200 bushels corn; Lorne, 15,474 bushels corn; Glengarry, 15,699 bushels of corn; Relief, 11,457 bushels corn; Lancaster, 17,681 bushels cornl; Wheat Bin, 20,000 bushels corn.

Holcomb & Stewart - Arrived: Schrs. G.W. Davis, Toledo, 19,000 bush corn; Corsican, Toledo, 14,000 bush corn; North Star, Brighton, 11,000 busels peas.

Garden Island - Arrivals: schr. J.R. Benson, Toledo, timber; Canada, Sault Ste. Marie, pine; James Norris, Sault Ste. Marie, pine; Maggie McRae, Quebec, pine; Gibraltar, Sault Ste. Marie, pine; Lisgar, Sault Ste. Marie, pine.

Departures from Garden Island - Schr. M. McRae, Bay City, light; schr. Canada, Toledo, light; schr. J.M. Benson, do, do. Barges Lisgar and Gibraltar, Lake Superior, light; schr. Jas. Norris, Bay City, light. Calvin & Breck's 9th raft left in tow of the tug Chieftain, for Quebec, containing 18? drams of timber and staves. The barge Gibraltar was discharged in two hours and a quarter by Calvin & Breck's steam apparatus.

p.3 The Storm - schooner Victor and "barge" Arabia arrive at M.T. Co. withsails split.

Sunday Night's Gale - str. Oswego Belle overheated engine.

W.W. - Rathbun & Son have closed shipyard at Mill Point.
