p.2 Spring Assizes - Keys vs Dawson - The plaintiff, Keys, was employed by Dawson as master of the ship R.H. Gaskin during two seasons. During the last season the vessel was laid up for a considerable time in consequence of dull times. The action is for a balance of wages due. The defendant presented a general account of all the management of this person during that period. The case is going on. Mr. McIntyre for plaintiff; Mr. Kirkpatrick and Mr. McGuire for defendant.
