p.1 General Paragraphs - Mr. Potter has been engaged as engineer of the str. Ranger, of Newboro.

The prop. Glengarry will be launched from the M.T. Co.'s ways tomorrow.

The schr. M.J. Cummings is chartered for wheat from Detroit to Oswego at 4 cents.

The propeller Rosedale is expected to arrive on April 22nd with 75,000 bushels of corn from Chicago.

The str. Marquis of Lorne and an elevator owned by the K. & M. F. company were launched yesterday, after being extensively repaired. The elevator received a new leg.
