The tug Thompson will go to Ogdensburg for a new wheel.

The str. Rideau Belle is having her wheel repaired at Davis' dry dock.

The schr. Jessie Breck will be dry docked on Monday and her bottom thoroughly overhauled.

The schr. Glenora, from West Superior, and schr. Gaskin, from Duluth, are in port with wheat.

The prop. Waverly, with consort Bruce, ran aground on the shoal opposite the locomotive works last night.

Capt. Noonan will enlarge the hull of the Rideau Belle this winter. The trade of the Rideau canal requires a larger boat.

The schr. Groton, Chicago, 24,111 bush. rye, and schr. Nirvana, Chicago, 42,202 bush. rye, have arrived at Portsmouth.

The str. Rideau Belle arrived from Ottawa last night. For the remainder of the season she will only run as far as Smith's Falls.

Clearances: prop. ?, Chicago, light; (unreadable - damaged) Thompson, eight barges, (unreadable) Montreal.

The schr. John McBride ? sprang ? sank near Jackson's ? ? The boat has been raised and again ? the creek in company with the Grey?
