p.1 News In Small Lots - The str. Spartan, Capt. Garratt, is being thoroughly overhauled inside and out.

Breck & Booth have chartered the schr. Wawanosh to carry plank from Munster this season.

Capt. Estes says the steamer Ontario is now at Havana, Cuba, and in the mail service. She was not lost on her voyage, as believed.

The case of Wright vs. Collier, regarding the collision of the schr. Two Brothers and the str. Reindeer, is now before the court of appeal, defendant objecting to a verdict for plaintiff. The divisional court sustained the verdict at the assizes at Picton.
