MARINE INTELLIGENCE.

Clearances: tug Active, Fairhaven, two barges; tug Hall, Montreal, four barges.

The schr. Fleet Wing will clear for Toronto on Monday with a cargo of pickets.

Arrivals: prop. Butteroni, Chicago, 38,500 bushels wheat; prop. Alma Munro, Chicago, lightened 9,000 bushels rye and proceeded to Montreal; str. Algerian, Toronto; str. Corinthian, Montreal.

p.4 Canadian Sailors Make Complaint - Chicago, Sept. 16th - four crewmen of str. Campana complain that they were discharged without pay, had to work sixteen hours a day and not fed enough; told to see British consul.
