p.1 Purchased The Steamer Princess Louise - Ira Folger has purchased the steamer Princess Louise from Capt. Rothwell for $1,800. The steamer will be thoroughly fitted up and renovated. She will be used in the Thousand Island and St. Lawrence steamboat company. The vessel is now lying at Collins Bay.

Incidents of the Day - The Montreal transportation company held its annual meeting, Monday, and appointed the old board of directors.

Spars For The New Barge - E. Bennett, foreman at the M.T. Co., drove to the country today to superintend the drawing in of three spars for the M.T. Co.'s new barge. Each spar is over 100 feet long, and it will take three teams of horses to draw one through the country.
