The schr. Queen of the Lakes arrived at Richardson's dock this morning with grain from Port Arthur. The vessel sailed all the way down, a distance of over 1,100 miles. This is only the second schooner in two years the firm has had down the lakes. The Queen made the trip down in ten days, including two days delay by fog on Lake Superior. She made the trip up from Cleveland in seven days.

Elliot Bros. have put in a telegraph system on the str. Columbian. It is the only such system that has ever been put on a boat out of Kingston, and is quite a novelty.
