SHIPPING BUSINESS. - The harbor begins to assume its wonted business appearance, although the arrival and departure of vessels are not yet quite as large as may be expected. The shrill screams of the tugs, the sound of the elevators, music sweeter to the commercial ear than that of "the singing birds" are once again "heard in the land" Although the present season of navigation does not open with prospects as bright and cheering as we could wish, let us hope that ere its close we will have no reason to complain of the business prosperity of 1871.
