p.4 Editor At Home - The schr. Glad Tidings has been taken off Baker's Point, Bay of Quinte, and repaired at Grindstone Island. Repairs will cost $300, and loss of cargo is about $150.

Arrivals at Garden Island for the week: str. Chieftain arrived from Montreal with barges; str. Reginald left for Quebec with raft in tow; str. Armenia and barge Valencia left for Toledo light.

The schr. Annandale, Capt. Frank McMaster, was launched from the Deseronto marine railway and inspected by Capt. Taylor. Very extensive repairs have been made on this fine schooner, and she is now as trim and staunch a craft as sails the lake.
