The str. Acadia is lying in the canal at Cornwall. While in the Beauharnois canal a cross key broke, causing the piston to smash the intermediate casting of the cylinder head. Capt. Clifford has wired for the necessary castings, and it is expected the Acadia will resume her trip next Friday.
