The Wreck is Thought to Be Lying in Shoal Water Near South Haven and President Graham Will Institute a Search In That Vicinity Very Soon
________

Benton Harbor, Special, May 14 - Several pieces from the Chicora were found here at the Devil's Hole to-day. They are important inasmuch as one of them is a piece of moulding from the clerk's room which has a part of a silver bracket. This bracket held up the marble slabs of the wash basin and showed plainly that it had been recently torn from its place. The wood looked new. The weight of the silver bracket must have kept the piece well under.

President Graham wired W. J. Hancock of the Chicora that as soon as the tugs are through where they are to wire him at South Haven then commence there and work south to St. Joseph. Mr. Graham said the boat is in shallow water because the storm will not work deeper than from twelve to twenty feet.
