Chicora Searching Party Struck Something Near St. Joseph

St. Joseph, Mich., May 28. - Ay 3 o'clock this afternoon the Chicora searching party, who are working north of here, struck something with the drag, twelve miles north of here, in fifty-eight feet of water which they think is the Chicora. The drag works seven feet off the bottom, so it would have to be a large object before it would catch. There are no known wrecks within six miles of there. The searchers were compelled to stop work on account of the sea, but will start it again at 3 o'clock in the morning. They are positive it is the missing vessel.
