MARINE INTELLIGENCE.

The prop. Bannockburn is expected to arrive on Thursday night.

The sloop Pilot has arrived from Adolphustown wit 1,100 bushels of wheat.

Arrivals: Str. Corsican, Toronto; str. Persia, Hamilton; str. Bon Voyage, Charlotte.

Arrivals at Garden Island: str. Armenia and barge Valencia, Marquette; schr. Norway, Toledo, timber, str. Reginald, Montreal.

p.4 Tried To Run St. Lawrence Rapids - steamer Empire State was going up rapids near Morrisburg to save the time of going up canal; had to turn around and went aground. [Watertown Times]
