CHICORA PROBABLY LOCATED
________
FIRE EXTINGUISHER BEARING "CHICORA" WASHED ASHORE
________

St. Joseph, Mich., April 24. - President Graham, of the Graham & Morton Transportation Co., considers that the location of the steamer Chicora is now settled. Ever since the boat foundered numerous pieces have come ashore near this point, none of which, however, could be positively identified.

Yesterday a fire extinguisher washed ashore, six miles south of this city, which bore the name Chicora. Mr. Graham unhesitatingly states that the boat is as good as found, and he will proceed at once to search in the vicinity of where the last find was made. He is hopeful now of recovering the valuable machinery with which the boat is equipped.
