The prop. Bannockburn and consorts cleared, Saturday, for Fort William.

The schr. Annie Falconer is in from Oswego with a cargo of coal for R. Crawford.

The tug Charlie Ferris brought over three barges of coal from Oswego for the canal.

The K. & M.F. Co. has three or four large propellers on the way down with grain.

The tugs Active and Thompson, with eight barges, cleared for Montreal this morning.

The barge Montreal has left the government drydock after receiving a general caulking.

The prop. Lake Michigan is ashore near Morrisburg. The barge Huron went to her relief this morning.

The schr. S.H. Dunn has had a most successful season. She has been kept busy running between Kingston and Toledo all summer.

Arrivals: Str. James Swift, Ottawa; str. Persia, Montreal; str. Algerian, Toronto; str. North King, Charlotte; str. Corsican, Montreal.

The str. D.D. Calvin and barges, Duluth to Kingston, wheat; str. Omaha, Chicago to Kingston, corn; str. Monteagle, Chicago to Kingston, corn, are in the canal.

The Richelieu and Ontario Navigation Co. have this season enjoyed the largest local business from Montreal in the history of the company. On Sunday a general change of time took place upon the line. The western line will make three trips a week. The str. Hamilton runs on her regular trips to Hamilton, which will be continued until the close of navigation.
