MARINE INTELLIGENCE.

The schr. Annie Falconer cleared last night for Oswego to load coal for Swift & Co.

The schrs. Acacia and Fleetwing arrived at Swift's yesterday, from Oswego, coal laden.

The str. Corsican is coaling up today and will commence her regular season's work on Sunday afternoon, when she will leave for Toronto.

The tug Fearless arrived here last night from Ottawa. She will coal up, and this afternoon will clear for Iroquois with the scow Topsy, light, in tow.

Departures: str. Bannockburn and consorts, Fort William; str. Pueblo, Oswego, coal for Milwaukee; Bronson and six grain-laden barges, Montreal; sloop Idlewild, Napanee, for peas.

Arrivals: schr. Nellie Hunter, Oswego, 300 tons coal; sloop Idlewild, Napanee, 1,500 bushels of peas, Richardson Bros.; str. Ketcham, Chicago, 37,000 bushels of wheat, M.T. Co.; str. G.B. Owen, Chicago, 51,526 bushels of wheat, M.T. Co.

J. Donnelly, jr., arrived yesterday in charge of the barge Joseph Arthur R., sunk in the Galloups recently. It was necessary to pump out two-thirds of the cargo of grain, most of which was saved, before the vessel could be floated. As the hole, which was thirty feet square, was in the bottom, it could not be patched until the boat had been raised. The tug Walker pulled her off, and assisted by the tug Hunter, towed her into the new lock, where she was patched, and was then taken to Cardinal, where the remainder of her cargo was unloaded. It is thought she was not injured much beyond the break in the bottom. She will be taken into Davis' dry-dock tomorrow. J. Donnelly, jr., is acting for the owner, on survey, and as superintendent of the repairs.

General Paragraphs - The str. D.D. Calvin and consorts, Ashland to Garden Island, timber, will arrive tomorrow.
