The sloop Trent, Trenton, brought down a cargo of lumber for W. McRossie.
The sloop Monitor, Napanee, arrived this morning with 1,800 bushels of barley for Richardson & Sons.
The sloop Laura D., Hay Bay, arrived this morning with 1,200 bushels of wheat for Richardson & Sons.
The sloop Dandy cleared today for Smith's Falls with 3,000 bushels of wheat, consigned by Richardon & Sons.
The str. Lake Michigan, Duluth, with 14,000 bushels of wheat, arrived at the M.T. Co.'s anchorage this morning.
The schr. Two Brothers loaded 1,500 bushels of wheat at Richardson & Sons' elevator this morning for Consecon.
The schr. Pilot, Belleville, touched at this port this morning, having on board 2,500 bushels of barley consigned to Prescott.
While running down Lake Erie Tuesday morning early the str. Lake Michigan passed the wreck of the str. Livingstone, sunk in the collision with the str. Grand Traverse. She lies in about thirty-five feet of water and is laden with merchandise. The Grand Traverse had her bow stove in but did not sink.

p.4 A Vessel Ashore At Chicago - Chicago, Oct. 23rd - The str. Oregon went ashore about two o'clock this morning on the reef off Sixty-Eighth street. A tug was at once sent to the assistance of the Oregon, which was found to be in no danger of going to pieces, and the crew was not, therefore, taken off. The steamer will probably be gotten off through the day. The Oregon is owned by J.C. Gilchrist, of Cleveland, Ohio, and is bound for South Chicago, oil laden.
