MARINE INTELLIGENCE.

The str. Hamilton is expected at Swift's wharf today. She was due last night.

The str. north King is being made ready for her winter quarters at Swift's dock.

The schr. Kate, Oswego, arrived last evening with 300 tons of coal for R. Crawford & Co.

The sloop Idlewild, Howe Island, arrived this morning with 1,500 bushels of oats for Richardson & Sons.

The str. Bartlett and consort, Kingston to Duluth, light, passed through the Welland canal yesterday.

The schr. Ballou loaded 1,500 bushels of wheat at Richardson & Son's elevator this morning for Glenora.

The str. Niagara, Port Huron, discharged 2,500 bushels of peas at the M.T. Co.'s elevators this morning.

The schr. Echo, Picton, discharged 1,500 bushels of wheat at Richardson & Son's elevator yesterday.

Today 8,000 bushels of peas were loaded into the barge Bismarck at Richardson & Son's elevator for Montreal.

The sloop Madcap, Simcoe Island, discharged 1,800 bushels of peas at Richardson & Sons' elevator this morning.

The tug Edmond and consort Columbia, Rideau canal ports, arrived this morning with cord wood for R. Crawford & Co.

The str. E.B. Hale, Chicago, 30,000 bushels of corn, while trying to make the M.T. Co.'s anchorage between midnight and daylight, went ashore on the shoal off the ferry wharf. She got too close inshore and is hard on. She is not damaged any.

p.4 Thousand Island Park, Nov. 2nd - The steamer W. Gilbert with divers, etc., has been at work during the week at the sunken propeller Oconto. Quite a number of boxes of goods have been brought to the surface. The steamer Juanita (Junita ?) has been taken off the Clayton-Alexandria Bay route.

General Paragraphs - Capt. Booth has chartered the schr. Albatross to carry four cargoes of timber from Toledo, Ohio, to Garden Island, as soon as navigation opens in the spring.
